Edge Products ’98.5-’02 Cummins Comp Box The Comp Box has dominated the 1998.5-2002 24V Cummins market for two decades and is what put Edge Products on the map in the early diesel performance era. With so many VP44 trucks still on the road, the company has completely revamped its Comp Box to offer those same dominating power and torque gains with the industry’s latest technology. The new Bluetooth wireless switch offers adjustability on the fly, while the available smartphone app offers fine tuning control over fueling and timing settings. The all-new Comp allows users to dial in their power curve for aftermarket injectors and larger turbo combinations with better control over smoke output. Breathing new life into an old 5.9L Cummins, Comp offers power gains from 40-180hp with stock fueling with even more RPM and power available for heavily modified applications. Thermo Tec Exhaust Insulating Wrap Wrapping headers and exhaust maintains hotter exhaust gases that exit the system faster through decreased density. Increased exhaust scavenging is produced, along with lower intake temperatures. Exhaust Insulating Wrap from Thermo Tec withstands continuous heat up to 2,000 degree F and contains no asbestos. The exhaust wrap will not over-insulate a system when properly installed due to a proprietary coating developed by Thermo Tec—Thermal Conduction Technology—that conducts heat across the wrap’s surface. This coating controls heat buildup and dissipation. Thermo Tec www.thermotec.com 800-274-8437 03. FASS Fuel Systems Drop-In Series Diesel Fuel System 2017-2024 GM (L5P) FASS Fuel Systems engineered its Drop-In Series Diesel Fuel System to be the most effective filtration solution for the L5P Duramax. Backed by the company’s limited lifetime warranty, the Drop-In Series Fuel System protects your L5P Duramax from the issues caused by fuel contamination. Without proper fuel filtration, modern diesel injection systems are prone to excessive wear. By removing over 99% of the water from your diesel fuel, along with entrained air and debris down to 2 microns, the Drop-In Series System protects the L5P’s injection system from premature failure. And if reliability, optimized MPG, restored horsepower, and a sharper throttle response isn’t enough, this system can be installed in an hour or less. This is a true plug-and-play system, requiring no cutting, wiring, or additional modifications. Better still, this system requires no tuning changes. Whether your L5P is stock or modified, FASS’ Drop-In Series Systems will not require adjusting tunes or clearing any codes. FASS Fuel Systems fassride.com 866-769-3747 05. FrostHeater 6.7L Powerstroke Engine Heater FrostHeater has been manufacturing custom-fit engine heaters for over 23 years, and has kits for Volkswagen TDI, Super Duty 6.7L, and more. The company’s kits are easy to install. They differ from a traditional block heater in that they circulate heated coolant throughout the engine, not just a back corner of the engine. The heater is designed to increase engine life, increase DPF life with less soot at start up, and increase comfort level inside the vehicle with cabin heat sooner. FrostHeater is well known in the Volkswagen TDI community and just released a kit for the Super Duty 6.7L. FrostHeater www.frostheater.com 06. RevMax Performance ZeroFlex Billet Transmission Pump and Body The RevMax 68rfe High Performance Pump has been upgraded and modified to produce over 325 psi with proper tuning. However, you would need a RevMax valve body to be able to achieve more than 175 psi because of factory restrictions. Also, just because the company’s pump can achieve extremely high pressure does not mean that it’s recommended to have more than 225 psi in the 68rfe transmission. All 68rfe pumps have been reworked with new valves, springs, and have passed multiple vacuum and pressure tests to ensure proper operation and reliability for many years. All of RevMax’s pumps are built with its Custom Coated Pump Plate. RevMax Performance revmaxconverters.com 877-780-4334 07. Strictly Diesel 7.3L Dipstick Adapter Repair Kit This kit completely eliminates the failure-prone stock dipstick adapter on the 7.3L Powerstroke, replacing it with a new machined aluminum adapter that features a double O-ring seal on the outside of the pan. The repair kit can be installed with the oil pan still on the engine and the engine still in the truck. Best of all, if the O-rings should ever leak, this adapter can be quickly and easily removed and reinstalled with new O-rings, all from outside the oil pan.
