02. ARP Head Studs: ’08-’10 Ford 6.4L Powerstroke

ARP created these heavy-duty head studs to help overcome head gasket failures that can occur in Ford 6.4L diesel engines. The studs are manufactured in ARP’s Santa Paula, California, plant from proprietary ARP2000 material with threads rolled after heat-treat to provide optimum fatigue strength. They are centerless ground to assure perfect concentricity. The ends of the studs are broached to facilitate easy installation. This feature also enables the cylinder head to be removed in tight quarters. Also included in each kit are heat-treated, chromoly steel 12-point nuts and parallel-ground washers. They are black oxide finished for extra durability.

04. Driven Diesel Power Steering Line Kit: ’01-’10 Duramax

The factory power steering hoses in hydroboost-equipped 2001-2010 General Motors 2500/3500 diesel pickup trucks are notorious for leaks. Fix it for the last time with this kit from Driven Diesel! Drawing on the company’s experience with custom manufactured tubing and hose assemblies, Driven Diesel has produced a completely new set of replacement power steering hoses that addresses the problems with the OEM parts. Through rigorous testing, it was found that stainless steel braid over Teflon hose generated an unacceptable level of in-cab noise—noise that is not a problem with the non-braided style of hydraulic hose that was chosen for the production assemblies.
